After several “working on something” posts, I’m happy to anounce that my album “textures” is finished.

It’s available in an edition of 50 CDr’s, in stamped recycled cardboard packaging.

The artwork design changed a lot since my first plans, and I’m happy with the way it developed. Thanks go out to A.-M. Lueck and R. Lueck for the design.
Also thanks to C. Roessner for the sample in “scuba camera”, and to Rafael Anton Irisarri for the mastering.

Futuresequence is a fantastic online resource for electronic, electroacoustic and experimental music. Their compilations SEQUENCE1 and SEQUENCE2 received very positive reviews.

A few days ago the third SEQUENCE compilation was released. As it’s predecessor it’s a free download, containing more than 40 excellent songs and compositions from partly new and partly already celebrated artists.

It’s a pleasure and great honour for me to have one of my own songs on SEQUENCE3.

I’m very busy recording an album, but nevertheless I sumbled over this sound today.

It’s a new toy I bought in my holidays, and the one or the other might feel reminded to the opening track of my my debut EP imperfect objects for perfect moments.

Recently I got a kalimba (thumb piano) as birthday present. Unbelievable how much fun that little toy is! Following examples were recorded with a contact mic.

As announced earlier, I’m working on my next release. My original plan was to release it around christmas, however, I skipped this plan for several reasons.
First: There might be a very limited physical release of this record, which takes additional time for realization. Second: I do want to add some remixes of the original compositions. I’m working on different versions myself…

I’ve been busy quite some time lately, different projects catched my attention and destroyed my free time. First, there’s a Capybara320/Kyma in my studio now. Wonderful sound design workstation, I must admit.
On the other hand there’ve been just enough summerdays left not to stay in doors too long, keeping me away from the Kyma a bit.

Nevertheless I’ve been working hard on two projects, first my Fairground Recordings, which I’ve been able to give a listen and further postprocessing. I’ll probably finish a sample pack this winter, if you’re interested.

Apart from this I found my bandcamp page somewhat half-empty. So I decided to work on a follow up to my imperfect objects for perfect moments EP. Have a first glance:
